Easy way to restore Dictionary in Samsung GT-S3850 Corby 2

You need only:
1. Your Corby phone memory space at least 7mb (in Phone, not memory card)
2. Internet Access.

You can download dictionary from your phone Menu/Dictionary/Download a Dictionary, choose dictionary (Corby 2 Dictionary built in is English to English) then download it,.. Downloading..... Wait until the notice comes out from the top of the screen "File Downloaded", tap on notice and install, go back to your dictionary in phone menu, tap on English to English and Set, Well done.

If you already download/installed but nothing's happen, just follow the 3 steps below.

1st.
Make sure to DELETE the ".dic" file that you've download to your phone (dictionary file name contains CollinsEng*.dic) can be found/restore in "My Files/Others". It was hidden, but it can be shown and never be hidden again once you restart your phone. So you better check again and delete the file if you found it.

2nd.
You need to use the system Defualt theme.
(if you're using other/downloaded themes, go to "My Files/Themes/Defualt theme.smt" and set to change ur theme to default).

3rd.
Set your "WAP downloads defualt memory" to Phone.
(located at "Settings/Memory/Defualt memory - WAP Downloads set to Phone , not in memory card, because the dictionary need to be saved in phone)

After the 3 steps, Try again to download a dictionary.
(How to process? ...just read above)


You can revert the changes of your phone after installing dictionary.

Try deleting saved messages,, inbox, drafts, then delete pictures you have downloaded, then delete unused themes etc. You have probably filled it up with one of those or all. Turn off autosave outgoing texts and clean out messages, pictures etc regularly.

• Before downloading themes for your mobile, you need to create a folder on your SD card. Connect your cellphone to your computer using your data cable.
• Create a folder and title it "Themes". This is where you will place and save your downloaded themes.
• Find a website that offers free themes. You can find these by doing a Yahoo or Google search.
• Download the theme that you like. Save it to a destination that you will remember. From here, extract the files.
• After extracting the files, save or move them to the SD card folder you created ("Themes").
• Disconnect the data cable from your computer. Be sure to disconnect safely by clicking the icon on your lower right task bar.
• Go to your cellphone main menu by clicking the menu button. Scroll down to themes. Your newly downloaded themes should appear in the list.
• Choose the theme and watch it display!

unang una, anong model ng cp mo? pangalawa, nokia ba toh? pag nokia yan ganito ang pag save ng themes sa memory card.

1. tanggalin mo ang memory card ng cp mo
2. kung meron kang usb card reader, ilagay mo ang memory card mo dito
3. ikabit mo sa usb port ang card reader
4. pagkatapos madetect ng pc or laptop mo ang card, buksan mo kung saan folder mo naisave yung na download mong theme sa laptop o pc mo.
5. copy and paste mo lang yun sa memory card
6. ilagay mo ulit yung memory card mo sa cp mo
7. tapos pumunta ka sa menu>tools>file manager>select mo memory card
8. makikita mo dun yung mga natransfer mong themes and pindutin mo yun
9. tapos install mo and follow mo na lang ang instruction sa cp mo
10. pagtapos mo install, delete mo na lang yung theme kasi naka install na un sa cp mo.
11. pde mo na ding di delete para back up.

2. Download all the themes that are compatible with E71 in to your computer. It would be better to create a folder where you can send the downloaded themes.

3. Once the themes are downloaded, connect your E71 to the computer using the USB cable. Open the folder of your E71.

4. Once the E71 folder is open, you must open the folder where the themes are saved.

5. Drag the themes from its folder and drop it to the E71 folder. The themes should be in your phone now.

if the theme is not appearing in d file application then try to search it in phone memory and gallery...........................if not connect it 2 pc through a usb and delete the theme

Ok you should go on RESET THEME DEFULTS it worked with my mobile so i am pretty sure it will work with yours, Kind Regards, Shanice

You need to restore factory settings to get your phone back to the first situation as new phone . then try again to have themes .
