How to Make an Email Photo my Desktop Background?

1) Press the "prt sc" (print screen) key on keyboard which captures the image to your clipboard (in memory so you won't see it yet).
2) Start a picture editing program to "paste" clipboard to as follows:
Photoshop = "File New" will create new window for clipboard contents. Then do "Edit/paste" to place your picture in the window. Now you can save it in whatever format you prefer, I use .jpg. and give it a name and save it where you can find it (desktop is easy). Close picture program, locate your file where it is saved.
3) "Right click" on your desktop picture file and you should see an option to "send to..." and choose "mail recipient".
4) Your default email program should launch with the file as attachment waiting for you to add recipient, subject etc.

Note: You can also use Windows "Paint" program located in "Accessories" folder if you don't have other program.

When working with pictures, when I right click on picture it says not responding and then locks until I close the task.

The picture file you are opening has an attached program, see view in file explorer. It will tell you which program is failing to load the picture.

This is the program you must :-
1. Fix the program.

2. Allocated the file type to another program.

3. Download a new program to read your file type.

I shot one picture and i want to see on the picture the date

The date and time (and a lot more) are automatically stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Runtime error

Does the Program issue you the name of the suspect runtime library at any point? If it does, go get the latest version of the runtime from the NET, in a searchengine type the name of the file+ext. download and then copy it in the same direrctory (folder) as the one on your system now. NOTE: I would FIRST rename the one on your system as <currentfilename.current_extention>and then add .OLD to it.

Problem in opening picture files

Its possible that you installed a graphic program that upon install it changed the extension of your picture files. An example would be photoshop, This program could change your JPG files to PSD format upon install.
You can download a software program that can convert your pictures from the PSD ext. to JPEG. Once such program is (Easy Graphic Converter), It is Free... Another excellent program is Graphic Workshop. I think that one is trial but it has a time limit.

If you don't want to go that route you can go into your file ext. settings and change it to where a jpg file will be opened with another program other than PhotoShop. This might solve your problem.

To get to this screen, you can go into ( My Documents ) click on ( tools) at the top on the menu bar. Then click on ( Folder Options ). From there click in ( File Types ). Then find your JPG ext.
and it will tell you what program opens your jpg files. If it says CS3, change it to something else like WIndows Picture and Fax Viewer or something else.

Picture project woes

Setup a client application instead of using the web interface for your Yahoo email and set it as the default mail program on your Mac. I believe the Picture Project software emails to the system's default email program; whatever that is.

I personally recommend Thunderbird.
