Install programmable Carrier thermostat

I want to replace a Carrier nonprogrammable thermostat with a new Carrier programmable thermostat model TC-PHP for a heat pump system. Is this something I can do myself or do I need an A/C contractor? Also where can I purchase a Carrier thermostat?

you'll be needing an assistance from an A/C technician, If this a progammable you want, some configuration need to be done and a technician can only do that.

You can search the web for a local carrier dealer nearest to you
