Your resettable thermostat turned off the high power heater circuit and the red warning light. The heater got too hot when the boiler became empty of water. This is to keep the heater from burning out if the boiler becomes empty. To reset the thermostat, turn the micro casa a leva over. There is a yellow plug near the center of the bottom which is easy to pry out. Stick a screwdriver, pencil, toothpick, chopstick or whatever else is lying around into the hole and gently reset the thermostat button. You will hear a click when it resets. You are then ready to go.

Wife turned on machine with low water. Lights are on but does not heat up. Reset button does not

There is a thermostat reset switch that is accessible through a hole in the underside black plastic base. You can use a screwdriver to poke through the hole and depress a cylindrical push button switch. Please unplug machine and remove parts that fall off before tipping it over.

I have an Elektra s1 espresso machine that is giveing me problems. I turn the machine on without any water in it, when I realised that (like an idiot) I poor same cold water in it.(the elements were...

From the User Manual:
If the machine was switched on by mistake without having filled the water circuit, the heating element safety device might have been activated.
This device protects the electric heating element against damage due to momentary overheating caused by lack of water.
Proceed as follows:
1)
Proceed as indicated in chapter "E STARTING UP THE NEW MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME".
2)
Check that the machine heats up correctly: if it does not, switch off the machine by putting the on/off button 1 to OFF and pull out the plug.
3)
Remove the yellow plastic cap located under the bottom of the machine.
4)
Insert a sharp pointed object into the hole left by the yellow cap and use it to press the small underlying button.
5)
Refit the yellow cap.
6)
Connect the plug to the power socket and switch on the machine by putting the on/off button 1 to ON. Check that the machine heats up correctly: if it still does not work properly this means that the heating element has been damaged; have the machine repaired by an ELEKTRA Service Centre. http://www.elektrasrl.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/09/CASA-USER-MANUAL-EN-0609.pdf

Pressure switch to micro switch distance

The distance is not stable. You have made everything corectly and you how they work.
Now you need to uadjust the distance when the machine is workinig on. The required presure should be 1.2 to 1.3 bar which is the ideal between the temeperature of the milk and temperature of coffee. So you should hear and see the switch going of when the machine reach the above mention pressure.

Replacing orings on glass level indicator

Not hard to do. Unplug and drain the water. unscrew the frothing wand and tip the machine gently over a sink to drain the water in the system. Then using a box wrench (don't use an adjustable wrench or poorly fitting tool) remove the water reservoir. THen you can unscrew the pressure gauge easily. At that point, the glass is exposed. Gently twist until it's free and pull the glass up and out. When you are replacing the white Orings, a small bit of olive oil on the inside will help you insert the glass back into the orings. Then replace all the components.

Elektra Microcasa a leva

You will need a 120/220V transformer for starters. That will make the Italian coffeemaker compatible with American outlets. The good news is that you can't do harm by plugging a 220 into an American outlet - it will just not give you enough power to run the machine.

I doubt that you can still get parts - I've seen used ones that still work on sale for anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000 - not cheap.

Here is all the contact info for Elektra - they are definitely still in business:
