Everything has been set up correctly on our phone: the date, time, year, our personal greeting, our remote access code, the volume, and our outgoing announcement. Callers are able to leave messages and we are able to check them from a handset or another phone, however we don't know that we have any messages until we try to make an outgoing call and hear an interrupted dial tone. This is because our telephone base does not display the number of new messages we have; it always says 0, and on top of it, if we hit play/stop button on the base, it says we have no new messages. So we basically can check messages just fine, but have no idea when someone leaves a new one until we make an outgoing call. Please let us know why our base is not displaying new messages. Thanks
