Hi Karenie, If you can't find the Cds, setting up the BEFSR41 is simple. Plug in the power, and connect it to a "dumb PC" with a cat5 cable. That is a PC that is not connected to the network. Power up the PC. Make sure you plug the cable into the LAN ports, or the 4 in a row. NOT the WAN port. Your PC should get a IP from the DHCP of the BEFSR41. On your PC, open Internet Explorer, and in the address bar, type in 192.168.1.1. A box will appear, with two slots. In the first put in {admin}, without the brackets. In slot 2, you don't need any password, unless you have reset it. Just press enter. That should give you access to your router. In all honesty, if the router is at default settings, and you are using cable, just plug the cable into the WAN Port. and the computers into the Lan ports. Power up the Modem, wait 30 sec, power up the BEFSR41, then power up your PCs. You should, go online. If not, contact one of the experts here, and they can talk you thru resetting the router to defaults. Please make sure you change the password, for your own security. Actually, there are several changes you should make, but that is the most important. Good Luck!
