Question about Panasonic DMR-EZ47V DVD Recorder/VCR

Operating unit i have followed operating instructions, i have my tv, sky box and recorder conected as stated in book. BUT am unable to record from tv to video or record from video to dvd. PLEASE HELP!

This unit will not record certain types of TV and no copy-protected VHS and it doesn't tell you when you have those situations--and it doesn't come up with an error message that tells you what you are doing wrong. First step is to be sure that your source material is not copy-protected.

Actually you don't have to get other devices, Just cables, take the sky box output and connect to AV input of DVR

How to connect to sky

Plug your recorder into the SCART connection labelled VCR and plug that into a SCART connector on your recorder.
To record from the Sky box, change the input channel to the SCART connector that the Sky box is plugged into and record away!

You need an analogue receiver to view the co-ax output from your sky box but you should be able to connect via scart

We have a philiips dvd recorder, but unable to

switch tv to the input mode you have conected dvd to e.g ( AV or EXT ) if dvd is a recorder one have you put areal in back and tuned in dvd recorder

Hello! I have just purchased a LG DRT389H DVD recorder as I want to copy the programmes that I hv on my sky+ box. I have followed every instruction in the book but for some reason am just unable to do so....

Connect the sky box to the dvd with a scart lead,plug it into av2 on the dvd.When you want to record from the sky,select av2 on the dvd as your record channel.Check that the scart is fully in on the tv and the sky for sound problem.

Sony connectivity

OK, here are info...
first unplug TV and dvd recorder from AC outlet and put hdmi cable as follows...
at rear side of TV, you have 2 hdmi inputs, hook hdmi cable in any one of them and other end of hdmi cable will be hooked in hdmi out of dvd recorder rear side.
Now, plug both units in AC outlet and power up, go to TV menu > hdmi setup > and perform device list update.
TV will recognize dvd recorder and you will see dvd recorder logo screen.

Connection advice needed

hello.on that samsung you probably have more than one hdmi conection so conect your dvd/vcr with hdmi cable to tv and sky box with hdmi to if its have hdmi or with scart if not.if you still have problems with conection,make some photos of tv,dvd/vcr and sky box all back panel and send to me ( and i send you the best solution i can.
