I cannot record tv to dvd, or vhs to dvd. the manual puts me in overload....because it gives you 75 million choices.....I'm not good at choices...I NEED BLACK AND WHITE...

    thanks

The unit freezes very often and power has to be disconnected to jump start again. It happens while trying to record. Also it takes heck of a time to use the functional buttons once the unit is turned on. Very annoying.

Thankyou for your help in trying to solve my problem with my video/dvd combi. I eventually had to call a Comit engineer out to deal with it. He discoved my unit was digital and not analog/digital, and as i was in a analog area, it would not work? so im taking it back to comit, [it cost me £50 for the call out]. "White Rider"

This unit will not record certain types of TV and no copy-protected VHS and it doesn't tell you when you have those situations--and it doesn't come up with an error message that tells you what you are doing wrong. First step is to be sure that your source material is not copy-protected.

Tv dvd and sky box

isn't there any manual/ book?
To connect TV to Sky Box VCR, connect the SCART lead from the AV1 socket on the TV to the TV SCART socket on the Sky Box. Connect another SCART lead from the AV2 socket on the TV to the AV1 socket on the DVD player and an RF cable from VCR to the aerial in socket on the TV.

Conect sky remote to sky+ box

Hello Jolene725,

If you are using a standard remote / HD remote for a sky + then you will have to press the following buttons:
TV
SELECT + i (flashes twice)
1
SELECT

You now should be able to use the standard remote with the Sky+ box.
Just bare in mind that using the standard remote you dont have the buttons to pause, record, etc.

Hope this has helped you out. If so then please leave a thumbs up

Recording from Sky+

could be possible that Sky TV is right protected therefore making it hard or impossible to record.
