I have an Iomega USB drive and it is not being located by any of my computers when plugged in. It is making a repeated sound like it is trying to open but it is not opening.

Any thoughts?

I recently had to force my laptop to shut off my holding the power key. When I turned it back on again, my LaCie external 1 TB drive was not present under my computer, and on the actual hardware the device-light was blinking. I then "safely-removed" the device and restarted the computer only for the light to continue blinking.

How can I remedy this?

I also have an Iomega External hard Drive that is no longer being recognized by my desktop.  The HG light is "on" but not blinking (running) so I cannot access data.  This HD is just over 1 year old.  HELP
