Nokia 6300 Memory Problem

Having up to now been able to store 30+ messages on my phone I suddenly keep getting a message saying memory full - cant send or receive messages - do I want to delete things to make room. This happens even when I have nothing to delete - could something be saved on my phone somewhere that I dont know about?

Re: Nokia 6300 Memory Problem

Brother it is software problem in your phone, I doubt it is due to file infected by some virus. It is advisable to disinfect both your MMC and phone . For that you can reset your phone on factory setting by using it's menu and format/disinfect your MMC by any updated virus programme on pc. It will solve your problem.
If it sounds works then vote it here.

you cannot delete a picture from your mobile, but you can replace it with some other picture message...

Initially few messages will get stored in the phone memory, once the phone memory is full it will automatically prompt to replace the old picture messages...
keep sending picture messages to your mobile and store in the memory... Once t, then replace that old adult pic with new picture...he memory is full it will ask you to replace the old picture

Can't access anything on Nokia 6300. It locked up and gives message of: (Message storage memory not ready) No Nokia place around to take it to. Please help!

The phone's memory is full, which causes the error message and lock ups. This error prevents you from freeing up memory by deleting messages.

Try the following (taken from the Nokia support forum):

1. Delete unused names/numbers from the address book to free up memory. (Perhaps write down the ones you want to keep for later re-entry)
2. Once a critical threshold is reached the msg inbox indicator will blink on
3. Enter inbox and DELETE as many messages as you can before phone freezes up again
4. If phone freezes or you get the error message again, restart and keep deleting from the phone book until it allows you hassle-free msg inbox access as per normal (but don't forget to continue deleting thos messages).
