Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera

Worth fixing???

I have had this camera for 1 1/2 years.   It makes a grinding, buzzing noise when turned on all the time UNLESS I am using the zoom.  The noise quits while zooming, but continues as soon as the zoom lever is released.  Other than this constant annoying buzzing sound, it works fine.
Thanks for your advice,

My camera's got the same problem. It's weird because i didn't do anything to it (drop it, hit it, etc) it just started making this noise one day when i turned it on. Ive discovered if you shake it a little bit the buzzing will get quieter and occasionally stop. However, as soon as you set it down, it starts up again. ALSO, I've noticed that if your uploading pictures, and turn it on while its in the "review pictures" mode, there is no noise. I think something may have gotten stuck in there, or mine at least.
