I need a manual for the Eureka 2596A Atlantis Optiheat Carpet Extractor Can you tell me how to print if off the web site?

First of all, here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

http://www.eureka.com/service/manuals/73596A.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

Once you have the PDF file on your computer you can just print it off like any other document.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any details to add, have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

Joe.

Wheres the release button for the recovery tank located on model # 2591

There isn't one. Just pull the handle straight up. When you reinstall it be sure to push it in firmly. Mine gives a click. Otherwise water runs out the side.

My eureka atlantis 2590 deep steam extractor will not spray

is the spray pump making a noise? if so, clean spray jets with a lime/calcium remover like "clr."
If the pump isn't making noise, try the rest fuse button.
If that's not it, your pump motor or solenoid is toast.

I am looking for a replacement recovery tank for Eureka Atlantis opti heat carpet extractor #2591...

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Unfortunately this is a hard item to find so I would advise you to contact the Eureka Factory customer service at the phone number listed below and they should be able to direct you to a dealer that sells the part or they can sell it to you as well.

Leaking Carper Shampooer

I have contacted Eureka and they have suggested I send back the serial number label, and describe the problems I am having with it. They have offered/suggested in my phone call to them, that they would likely replace the unit. I'll see how it turns out. Just sent the letter away (Sep 2, 2008).

EEureka Atlantis 2595A Upright Wet/Dry

I have an Eureka Atlantis Deep Steam Extractor and it does the same thing. It's not new but it hasn't been used much. The only thing the booksays is to put the tank in until it snaps into place. (Like we didn'ttry that.) Apparently it's a bad design. The seal on mine looks fine.

If I was doing the floor I'd just keep going but I'm trying to do my couches and I don't need a huge puddle on the floor.
