Trying to install software for my Kro...

trying to install software for my Kross webcam. 4 megapixels. Using CD, instal wizzard shows complete, but when I plug in cam, nothing happens....installation won't complete. My PC doesn't show cam icon on task bar. It does show something that it says is disconnected. Have reconnected cam in several USB ports with no change. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times.
Anybody help me??
