Hi HotRoddy,

This is a Service station error. Check for obstructions in the service station on the right.
Turn on the printer in service mode by holding down the UP arrow and ENTER keys (simultaniously).
Enter Service Utilities, choose Unlock Carriage. Turn the printer off and move the carriage to
the center of the printer. Turn the printer back on. The carriage and service station should
return to their home positions.
If the error returns on power-on, the service station will probably need to be replaced.
Parts and diagrams can be found at partsurfer.hp.com.

Hope this post was usefull for you.

Thanks,
Robosoft.

Maytag dryer MD-24 error symbol?

The dryer completes the cycle you have set. If you do not remove the contents at the end of the cycle, the dryer performs the start-stop routine you describe until you get around to removing the contents. Eventually even the start-stop routine ends and the contents just lie in a heap until removed

42:10 is carriage motor error, 86:01 is carriage jam. Check slider rods (both upper and lower) and carriage oil pads are lubricated, clean encoder strip. Is your printer is shaking too much? Place it firmly.

Hi, we have a roland camm-1 cutter plotter. It has been showing "fan error" on the display these last few days but would correct itself when turned off and on again. Now though, when I put vinyl in and send...

I had a similar problem. The issue was that I would receive a "fan error" notice but the fan was still spinning when the error displayed and then the machine would stop. I took plotter to my garage, removed the covers and used my air compressor to blow out the dust from the fan and the circuit boards. When I blew out the fan, a ton of dust and "dots" from the punched material came flying out. After a thorough cleaning, I put it back together and have not had the problem since - it works like new. I think what happens is that the fan becomes clogged with dust and dots and slows the fan enough to send an error signal to the plotter. No dust, no dots, no error! Try that - hope it works for you!

System error on plotter screen

Follow-up to previous message... ended unexpectedly.

Enter the test mode and run the ELECTRONICS test. The plotter will tell you in plain English what the problem is. If it hangs up, power down.

HP 755 CM CARTRIDGE MISSING ERROR

This normally points to a worn ribbon on the carrage. Make sure the ribbon where the cartrige makes contact is really clean, if cleaning make sure the plotter is turned off. Sometimes a build up of ink can cause problems. The bad news is that if the ribbon on the carrage is worn it firstly comes with the carrage as a unit, and secondally the carrage is no longer available from HP
