I use Adobe Standard 9 to scan documents for archive. When I scan from the glass it works just fine. When I scan multiple pages from the document feeder, I get errors. I've updated my hp software for the L7680 and still no luck. Please help!

- I appreciate the thought however understanding how to scan is not my problem... it's not end user error.
I have been temporarily working around my ADF problem by putting an SD card into the printer itself and scanning to the card. Unfortunately that didn't always work either. The ADF would take maybe one or two pages and then pop up a General Scan Error. After a few minutes the computer would pop up a very lengthy error message. Forgive me for not typing it here.
HP told me it was an Adobe issue or a VISTA issue. Adobe told me it was an HP issue. Microsoft left me on hold for too long.
Bottom line is I may have found the fix on Friday. First is to make sure all the drivers are updated. Second is to make sure you have the most current Firmware.
I scanned 27 pages front and back directly to Adobe and it worked without one error. I have not retested it so I can't say for sure if the firmware update corrected the problem.
If you don't hear back from me then the firmware update did the trick.

I have recently gotten a refurbished Office Jet L7680 which just stopped printing yesterday. I've checked settings and can get faxes, but it won't print or even copy. What's wrong?
