You can start saving your ring tones that you have downloaded by following these procedures;
1.When you are on the folder that holds the downloaded songs , please click option and you'll have a pop-up that allows you to save the song either on your phone or memory card
okay what ya need to do. is get a usb cord that connects to your phone and a computer.
1. Plug the phone into the computer. 2. download p2k commander of some sort. 3. You may or may not have to download a driver for this. but if you do then just go to google and type in driver for razr v3 and it will come up. 4. Then go to control panel. There will be a option of phone and modem options. Click that. 5. Then go to Modems. 6. It should say USB Modem and out next to it have a number like COM3 or something. 7. You go to the p2k commander, and then go to options. Uncheck all the boxes except Use this com port. 8. Then out next to it type in the COM port that your phone was on..Click ok, 9. Now look at the bottom left of the p2k commander. If it says GENERIC FAILURE. That means that its working. If not then it means there is a problem in which i can't fix. 10. But go to the right and click the down arrow and change it to /a p2k phone system. Click re read. 11. it should take a second then go to the only file there. Then click shared. 12. Then go to audio. 13. Then there is all your songs.. click on the song that you want deleted, then go to the bottom and click the delete button :)..
this worked for me.. i learned how on youtube. if ya cant understand just go to google. there are other ways.. i just don't know them..
Nope, any standard ringtone that came with your phone is going to stay on it. They are locked, and you can't unlock them. Try getting a memory card for your phone and put the ringtones on that. That is what I had to do once.
The lock indicates that the song is protected, or locked and cannot be transferred or deleted.
Where did the music come from? If you downloaded it from a ringtone site, or your company, try downloading them again.
It also may be a memory error, if you have too many photos / videos, it will effect the audio and ringtones on the device.
Best of Luck.
your phone memory is just 1.5 MB and there is no external memory available for your phone eventhough the ringtone may be just KB'S your phone may have used most of 1.5 mb for its ram,contacts,inbox,outbox and other settings and any ringtones that would have already available in the phone
So please delete any pre-available tones in the phone and try again
