I have a Stylus C88+ can't print readble numbers or text in black

I have a Stylus C88+ and it has started to print black text and numbers that have horizontal white lines/gaps in the text and numbers and is not readable. I have cleaned, and used realigment tools in the program. Nothing I do helps, the print test page looks the same every time I make an adjustment, gaps and lines in the text and numbers. I'm using Epson print cartriges and plain paper. Help
