whenever i turn it on i get a hourglass thing and it never starts up... i have just let it sit and the hourglass never goes away..... any clue onto what i am doing wrong or should i try and return it???

i have a delstar mp4 player and when ever i trun it on there is a hour galls how do i get this off????
