We have moved our phone system to a new location. Everything is re-installed exactly the same way. BUT the phones are not getting power. The weird thing is that the headsets are working and ringing. We are getting faxes. Any ideas? Is there a reset switch or did I remove a wire that I should not have? thanks

Only some apps can be moved to the card. Here's how to check and move the ones that can along with some other tips for freeing up space in internal storage:
1.Go to the Home screen. Press Menu and tap Settings , then Applications, then All
2. Tap each app and tap "Clear Cache". Tap "Move to SD Card" if it's not grayed out.
3. If there are any apps that you've downloaded and don't use uninstall them. The phone won't let you uninstall system apps that are essential to the phone's operation. If you aren't sure if you need an app or not install ES File Manager (which can be moved to the card) and use it to back up the app to the memory card before deleting.
4. Open Messaging, if you have any picture messages, tap on the bubble containing the picture. Tap Save attachment. After the picture has been saved, tap on the bubble again and tap Delete message. Also delete any text messages you don't need.
5. If you use Gmail, open Gmail, tap Menu, then tap Go to labels, then Trash and delete everything in Trash. If you use a different email app delete everything in its trash folder.
6. Launch the Camera, press the Menu button, tap settings and make sure that "Storage Location" is set to "SD Card".
I had the same problem, i took my one shelf speaker into the same room as the main unit, paired it there, then moved it back to where it was. once it made the connection, all the rest of the units responded too. very weird. ps bose told me i needed to buy a new unit as they are no longer repairable.
Most answers I see are clearly from people who have no idea what they are talking about.
The T669 has a BUG, even if you have the 100% correct unfreeze code the phone will NEVER accept it. The ONLY solution is the 'direct unlock' function from Simlock Remote Server software by cable.
However the question was 'how to turn it on' which is a bit of a weird question as 'turning on the phone' has really nothing to do with a simlock.
Just hit the power on button. If nothing happens check battery if that is full your phone has hardware damage and you are ready for a new phone.
If the phone does turn on please clarify what the phone exactly states then I can help you better.
The battery in your phone system is dead. This will happen every time you have a power failure. Everything resets. Date becomes Jan 1st 1980 (but might update if you have callerID), all phones will have access to only line 1 and line 2, both those lines will ring on all calls, and the line settings are set back to pulse ...
Ideally you either have the battery replaced (it's soldered on the board of the system), or you get a new phone system. Otherwise you'll have to reprogram everything when you have a power failure.
Norstar doesn't like phones to be moved around some times on the old norstar systems moving phones caused problems. How old is this system and in programming there is a setting called set relocation this has to be a yes to move sets.To move a set to another local unplug both sets wait 1 min. plug one set in it's new local wait 1 min. plug other set in its new local.
While the new location your moving your phone to is connected to your Mitel system, the port is not programmed to work with the model your plugging in. Contact your system administrator to arrange the movement of your extension via programming or a simple wiring cross connect change.
Are you sure the new location is a working port on the system? IPU suggests a VoIP phone, not a DKT2010. Are you sure you have the right phone? You cannot swap an IP phone with a DKT phone.
This is a little more complicated in a Norstar system because of an optional feature they have to remember phone settings when replacing phones. Normally a phone system port is programmed for one person.. let's say Kathy... the programming is stored in the system so you can plug in any phone that is compatible with that system at that port and it will be set up for Kathy. The Norstar has a feature that lets you move Kathy's phone to another location on the system, the system detects the serial number of the phone and moves Kathy's settings to that new port. BUT if Kathy's phone is broken you can plug another phone into Kathy's port and that new phone will now be Kathy's phone erasing Kathy's old phone from the system.
So, you could have a combination of some phones holding the settings of the original user in a new location while others do not. Also, if Ilene's port was originally on say extension 107 but in your new location there is no phone at location 107 the button would no longer work and it would say something like you say "not in service"
