Small rust spots in washing machine

posted by g278097 on Jan 04, 2008

I recently got a used washing machine and I left the water in over night. When I drained the water, there were some spots inside the barrel. What can I do to remove them before I do laundry again?

try some white spirits...be careful not to get on plastics.
if the paints coming off around holes and is rusting you could clean these areas off and use something like dap to re-seal it... all other options will cost $$$$$$$$
