The prob is caused by the pressure/water level switch not working.
This can be be caused by several different reasons, the main one probably being caused by a blockage in the pressure system, or a faulty pressure switch, and possibly a sticking water in valve.
Check for blockage first, and work back from there if it is not blocked.

Amana washer won't continuously fill the basin with water.

Laundry Washer or Dishwasher?

If it is a dishwasher, it sounds like the Flood Sensor is stopping the cycle. There is a tray between the floor and the underside of the basin. If it is a Dishwasher, you just need to find the leak and fix it.

For a Laundry washer, it is a problem with the control board and needs professional diagnosis and repair.

F&P GW512 Will not stop filling

If the water continues to flow into the washer with power removed from the washer, ie; unplugging it, then the water valve is faulty.

Maytag Epic FH Error

follow this steps .God bless you
F/H No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.
Or
If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • If there is no water in the unit:
    1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
    2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
    3. Verify inlet valve operation
  • If there is water in the unit:
    1. Verify Drain pump operation
    2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
  • Verify there is not a siphon problem
  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks

Yes it is normal just no hot air

1. When setting the temperature to MAX, blower level to FULL and outside air Vent CLOSED, no hot air comes out after 2-5 minutes?
If YES, when did you last flushed your radiator and is it full?
2. if more than 5 years ago, flush radiator system, instructions are usually in Owners manual. Use a bottle of Radiator cleaner, run egine hot for about 10-15 minutes, carefully open petcock in bottom of radiator to flush out radiator, WARNING, careful as flushed coolant would be boiling hot. As sson petcock is open and water start to flow out, carefully open radiator cap to enhance flushing flow. Use garden hose to fill radiator while flushing until water coming out from petcock is cold and clear.
Once clear, start engine, turn heter full and blower full blast and keep hose in radiator flowing full, leave petcock open until clear water flows out again. Once clear waters comes out, turn off engine, turn off garden hose and let water drain empty radiator. Once it stops flowing out, close petcock snug and put radiator cap on, pull off radiator coolant catch bottle, clean bottle for any debris and dirt. Drain any water, leave bottle empty and put it back onto its place.
3. Fill radiator with 1 gallon (4L) of concentrated coolant, top up radiator until full, fill catch bottle with concentrated coolant, start engine and keep it overflowing until no bubbles comes out and the radiator is fully hot. Once it is flowing good, close and connect everything. Drive with it and keep catch bottle filled as necessarry.
Good luck. Give as vote and good comment if this advise solve youor problem. Thank you.

I put in a load. The machine filled up but did not stop filling. The dial did not proceede to next step, it stayed at the 10. Overflowing EVERYWHERE. When we moved the dial manually to spin, it drained...

your fill switch is either bad or "gllitched" and the timer cannot move until this switch senses the right amount of water for the load unless its an electronically sensed water/load capacity filled machine, when it starts, the water fills the unit and the pressure switch shuts the water fill off when at selected water level and powers the timer to continue the wash cycle,it works off a "bellows" on air pressure to change a switch by air pressure to operate the machine when full of water

The cold water will not stop filling the washer. It continually runs to where it wants to over flow

remove the two screws one on each side of the top console, flip it up and on the left side you'll see a piece with a clear plastic hose line going to it,that's the water level switch or pressure switch that controls how much water fills into the washer.if the plastic line fell off or has a hole in it then this will happen or the pressure switch could be bad,you can take the hose off from the switch and blow into the line,no air should blow through it,if it does then there's a hole in the line, also you can blow into the hole on the switch very easy, you should hear a clicking sound but most likely the switch will be bad, they hardly ever go bad so check the clear line good.i think this is what you're talking about,if the water just keeps filling the washer even when it's off then you have a bad water valve on the back of the washer, dirt gets in the valve and it can't close all the way and water just keeps filling into the machine,if this is what's happening then shut down the house water valve until you can replace the water valve on the washer, let me know what you find.the part for the pressure switch is W10337780 and it's around 30 to 40 bucks, the part number for the water valve is
285805 and it's around 30 bucks

Won't run

Most washers today will not do anything after fill unless it sees the lid switch (innerlock system) closed. The same as having the lid of the washer up during a wash cycle. They will fill but until the timer, or ECB gets a signal back from the pressure switch (water level switch) it will go no further. Some of the electronic machines will also time out in the fill cycle because of a lack of water flow. The fill cycle is a timed event and if the water level switch ( controlled by the ECB ) does not close in the time alloted, it will stall. This can be checked by hitting the start button again. Most of these problems are caused by a lack of water flow on the initial start up. Cleaning your water inlet screens in the supply hoses and screens in the mixing valve itself will solve this issue.More information to the specific model would help pin-point this problem.
