I am trying to watch live tv on pc. I have windows xp windows media centre but when I try to play live tv is says "Decoder in currently in use with another application please close all other applications, restart media centre and try again". I have no other applications open. Please help.

Media centre can use a numnber of codecs to do this job, you just need to make sure it has a choice. You need to download & install a codec pack. Microsoft has one which you can find on the website but the most comprehensive one is KL Codec pack. Google it & install the standard version, just use all the default settings & that will fix your problem.
