Batteries need charging message very often, even, with new fully charged or new non rechargeable batteries, the camera can be put in the review pictures mode with no problem but when putting in camera mode the camera will go off or show change batteries message, or if I zoom the camera will shut off, it seems if I put batteries that are new (tested shows full scale in green) the camera will either shut down or show change batteries message. This is hit or miss, sometimes it will work for awhile with batteries that are not fully charged. The manual says use alkaline batteries. Does this really make a difference? I think there is something wrong with this camera. The camera is several years old, purchased new. When first given as a present this camera has always been tough on batteries. That is the reason I went with rechargeable AA batteries but the problem has been getting progressively worse even when using new non rechargeable batteries,
