For some reason the fan on this unit will not work. The heating element kicks on but the motor does not start the fan. I suspect it's the control mechanism, likely one of the power transistors on the board. But I lack the diagnostic tools to verify this. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a DeLonghi 710T ceramic heater that stopped working correctly this week. Everything seems to be ok except the fan won't turn come. I can hear it trying to start up, but it is either hung or the motor is not getting enough power to run the fan. Anything quick and simple I should be looking into?
