Sing along cd wont play

These are funny little things.

Sometimes the door fails, so make sure it's fully & properly closed. It will not play CD-RWs (rewritable discs) & might not play CD-Rs either so make sure:

1. The batteries are fresh (high power alkaline), or better still, you are connected to the mains.
2. You are using a pre-recorded (shop bought CD)
3. Your unit isn't being moved or rocked. Although this looks like a "portable unit" it does not have any anti-shock or bufferring so moving the device around while trying to play a CD won't give great results.
