You can try moving our pc/laptop closer to your router as signal strength could be weak. You can follow the following step to make connections to work more reliably.
Protect your router with encryption such as WPA/WEP and passphrase to prevent unauthorized access.
Change your network type from "Public" to "Private" type.
Making the network type on your computer "Private" reduces the chance of connection droppings as this setting assumes that your connection is already secure (that you made in step-1 above).
I recommend either resetting the router, (little pin size button on back) or what most people do is unplug for 10 seconds and plug it back in. They tend to build up a static charge.

my test light comes on every 5 minutes or so and disconnects me from the internet. it just started doing this yesterday. it is hooked up correctly but i will be on the internet then a no connectivity box will pop up in the lower right hand corner of the screen then i look at the wgt624 netgear wireless router and the test check mark is lit up and it's just testing and resetting on its own. How can i fix this?
