Dell 942 cant communicate. cords are ok. tried but

For that you need to uninstall printer and usv driver .
You can uninstall those in device manager.
Right click on my computer icon then click on property.
Then hardware->device manager.
Then uninstall all usb drivers 1 by 1 .
Then uninstall printer driver.
USB driver are installed automatic.
For your printer download driver from below link.
click here

click on above link and select your operating system then download driver then install.
Then check.
Also connect usb cord of printer to defferent usb ports on computer.
