From extension 10 or 11.

Press feature 00
Press left intercom twice
Then right intercom once.
enter your extension number

You will see the lights blinking green on the phone, where your lines are. Touch them until they are solid green. If you want to program another extension, press the right intercom button again and enter the new extension number.

Once done, press feature 00 to exit programming.

As far as the caller ID, there is no way to turn it off on the Partner system. My guess is the provider isn't sending caller ID.

The Linksys router, like any other router, will block "unsolicited" traffic from the Internet coming "into" the router (for "forwarding" to your computer that is "behind" the router).

So, you need to access the web-server "inside" the router, from a computer that is "behind" the router, and you need to modify the "blocking" of the router's "firewall", to "allow" (instead of "block") traffic from the Internet to a specific port-number.

You'll also need to "forward" that port-number to a specific computer "behind" the router.
Compare to a secretary that receives telephone-calls for several managers in the office.
When somebody calls the office, the secretary may look at the caller-ID, and may choose
to *NOT* pickup the telephone, i.e., to "block" the incoming call. Thus, none of the telephones
on the desks of the managers will ring -- they will not receive any notification that the secretary
has "blocked" the call. Or, the secretary may recognize the caller-ID as being that of the spouse of one of the managers, and may just "forward" that incoming call to the correct manager.
The secretary needs to know which of the telephones is associated with the spouse of the caller, so that the "correct" person responds to the incoming call.
The secretary is doing the 'NAT' ("Network Address Translation") to correctly do the "forwarding".

Similarly, the router needs to be configured to do the 'NAT' correctly.

How do you turn off talking caller ID on panasonic kx-tg4032?

This feature lets you know who is calling

without looking at the display.

To use this feature, you must:

- subscribe to a Caller ID service of

your service provider/telephone

company.

- turn this feature on (page 24).

When caller information is received, the

handsets and base unit announce the

caller's name or phone number received

from your service provider/telephone

company following every ring.

The unit announces in English only.

L Name pronunciation may vary. This

feature may not pronounce all names

correctly.

L Caller ID service has a limit of how

many characters can be displayed. If

the caller's name is too long, the

handset may not be able to display or

announce the entire name.

L The announcement is heard at the

same level as the ringer volume (page

16, 23).

L If you turn on the answering system

and set the number of rings "2

rings" (page 36), the unit does not

announce the caller information. If

"Toll saver" is selected and there

is a new message, the unit does not
announce the caller information.

According to the manual, the RCA 25413 does not support Caller ID. I have provided a link where you can download the manual. The manual is for model numbers 25413 and 25414. On page 8 it details how to turn caller ID on/off for each line under Ringer Tone heading item 6 Note, but the note says it does not apply for model 25413. Hope this helps.

If I turn off the ringer does this also turn off caller ID?

Turning off the ringer won't affect the caller ID display. All that happens when you turn off the ringer is that the phone doesn't make noise any more. The ringing signal and caller ID information from the phone company still will reach the phone.

Phones don't ring

Caller ID is a service that is provided by your telephone service provider and not the phone. If the phone company isn't sending your line Caller ID data, your phone won't display it. As for getting the handsets to ring, try pushing the volume up key while the handset is off, the more times you push the button, the louder the ring will get until you are at max ring volume. Also, some models have a "Do Not Disturb" feature which turns the ringer off. Without knowing which model phone you have I cannot tell you how to turn this feature on/off. but you can look it up in your manual online at http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=1

How do you turn on caller ID on a Panasonic KX TGA181AL

Is your phone operated off a panasonic system? is so you need a caller id card. if not then you would need to inform your phone service provider that you need caller id. if you have caller id and you do have the caller id card you would need to get a hold of a panasonic tech who could turn on your c.id as long as it is being provided from your phone service and the card is installed.

Ringer ID, editing a caller 's phone #

See caller ID section on this Manual
You can edit the caller number if you are connected to a PABX system and require prefixing for outside lines, you can also remove area codes if you want to return a call just using the local code without the area code
