First you want to go to device manager to uninstall your device...to get to device manager click on start, right click on my computer and go to properties...click on hardware then device manager...then uninstall your device and unplug it once you do that...open up your windows media player and if you dont have the most recent one you might want to update to WMP11....then you want to click on tools, options, privacy,..you want to clear the history and the caches...then you can go ahead and plug your device in the back of your computer..windows and WMP should recognize the device properly...

I cant dowload any songs Really needs help

I have this same player. To load a song w/o video, try plugging the player into your PC, open "My Computer" from the menu on your PC and then look for the player icon, and click on it to open. The player should have come w/software to do the same thing, but it only needs to be used for a video/song upload, or converting different formats to MP3 for the player (like FLV from YouTube).

My zen mosaic is not downloading songs

You may be looking at the library on your computer. In Centrale with the player connected, double click on the Mosaic player icon at the bottom of the list on the left of the screen. This brings up a contents list identical to that above(which is for the PC not the player)

Music won't sync to mp3 player! D:

Hi,

The problem is that iTunes songs only work with iPods. If you pay extra, they will now let you download them in a format compatible with other players but I don't recommend using iTunes (or anything from Apple for that matter). Try Amazon MP3. The songs downloaded from there will work with any player under the sun and they're generally cheaper than iTunes. Here is the link:

You can use either Rhapsody or Windows Media Player to sync the files to your device.

My songs wont add onto my sandisk sansa mp3 player

What format are the songs you're not able to hear? It's possible that the songs are not in a format the Sansa can play.

Also, you can navigate your Sansa like a removable drive. Try going to "My Computer" and looking to see what's actually on the drive.

Downloading music to my delstar DS 801

You need to subscribe to an online music service or use Windows Media Player to download songs:

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

Olivia, dear, please invest in a few lessons in capitalization, punctuation, spacing, and word separation. Chat-speak will be the death of the English language! Hold down the on/off switch and the volume switch at the same time. This will reset your device, but it will also erase all of your saved music.
