My ice maker stopped working. Yesterday I emptied the ice bucket as a bunch of cubes were frozen together and it would dispense. I've turned it on and off but nothing. There is no ice in the bucket and the arm dosen't move. There are big warnings about moving the arm any souggestions

The ice stays in the cubemaker tray for a set time and then empties into the bucket. If the freezer was too warm the ice wasn't frozen enough when the cube maker emptied it and it all stuck together. Now the fridge is cold again empty the bucket, make sure there is no ice stuck in the dispenser and try again. If it is a Samsung fridge do the above and turn it off for 30 seconds and back on again. Sometimes the controller and display freezes and reads the wrong temperature.
Does the icemaker bucket has ice cubes. If yes then your problem is in the dispensor. If no ice cubes on the icemaker bucket then your problem is with the ice maker unit.
Let say Ice cubes on the ice maker bucket and dispensor makes noise when pressing for ice cubes. Then either your ice dispensor flapper is frozen or may be ice cubes in bucket may have defrost and frozen again sticking together.
I understand that the ice maker in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS23H7CS, is crushing your ice, but will not dispense the crushed ice. It sounds like the dispenser is possibly jammed. Follow the following steps for a possible resolution:
1)The ice has melted and frozen around the auger due to infrequent use, temperature fluctuations, and/or power outages. Remove the ice container, thaw, and empty the contents. Clean the container, wipe dry, and replace it in the proper position. When new ice is made, dispenser should operate.
2)Ice cubes are jammed between the ice maker and the back of ice container. Remove the ice cubes that are jamming the dispenser.
3)Ice cubes could be frozen together. Use the dispenser often so that cubes do not freeze together.
4)The ice cubes are hollow or smaller than normal. The ice & water filter cartridge could be clogged. Replace the filter cartridge. Dispensing system operates best at 20 - 100 psi water pressure. Well water pressures should fall within this range.
If the above does not work, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Turn the power back on and try dispensing crushed ice. to solve the frozen food problem, turn the temp back to 4. this should be the factory recomended setting. the only dispensing crush ice is probably a bad solinoid. you will find this behind the back wall. it engages to lift the thin metal rod on the bottom of the ice bucket to dispense cubed ice. and the ice being frozen in the bucket is probably a bad ice flapper in the door. it's letting warm moist air into the ice bucket that is freezing
You have one of three things wrong. The auger motor is frozen up, the ice bucket is broken or you need to dump out any ice, run warm water through the entire ice bucket, dry it out and try again with fresh cubes. My guess is the auger motor is frozen. You can buy a vinyl boot that covers the auger motor to prevent moisture buildup and freezing from GE Parts at 1-800-626-2002
If the ice bucket is over filling there may be a problem with the ice maker as this should stop making ice when the bucket is full. The ice in the bucket can freeze together just due to the weight of ice cubes . I suggest you check the ice within the bucket is all broken up and not frozen into big lumps
I lifted the switch to turn ice maker off, left it like that for a couple of hours, then turned it back on. I checked it a couple of hours later....Making ice now....
