My cooktop center burner (two elements) is behaving erratically. It seems to be all or nothing. What part do you think is causing this? Thanks.

I'VE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY JENN AIRE. THE FIX IS REPLACING THE CONTROL KNOB. IT COSTS ABOUT $38. MARK ALL WIRE CONNECTIONS BEFORE REMOVING FROM OLD SWITCH. NEW SWITCH WILL BE SIMILAR BUT NOT IDENTICAL. YOU MUST ALSO USE THE JUMPER WIRE SUPPLIED WITH THE NEW SWITCH TO GET THE INDICATOR LITE TO WORK.
