If you are trying to copy a floppy disc use right click on what you want to copy, then locate where you want to put the file and right click again and paste.

If you want to copy a cd - data disc to your pc use the same procedure, right click, select location to store the info and right click, then paste.
You can also use the file menu to "select all" if there are a lot of files in windows explorer or my computer.
If you want to make a copy of a data disc to another cd, copy the files to your hard drive, then use your cd program to burn a new disc.
If you are trying to copy a cd- music disc - the songs must be "ripped" from the cd into either cd or wav format using a program such as Music Match Jukebox or similar with the "record" feature, or media player using the "rip" feature - this will place the tracks on your hard drive, then you can make a new cd from those tracks.
