Check print cartridge light is still blinking

take out the cartridges from the printer and clean the contact points with a clean piece of cloth. and then unplug the power cable from the back of the printer,then press and hold down the cancel and color copy button from the front panel of the printer. and while pressing them down plug back the power cable back into the printer. try to power on the printer and then insert the carridges one by one into the printer.
