Deep, garbled, audio on my contact's end

I can see and hear my daughter, she can see me, but my voice is deep, garbled, and incomprehensible to her-thus I have to type everything that I want to say to her---what is wrong? when I record a message, she hears the same thing---Is it my end or hers?--If mine, what do I need to do?

Re: deep, garbled, audio on my contact's end

Have you tried recording a message to yourself and playing it back. The reason I ask that is to make sure your audio encoding is working well enough at least for you to understand yourself.
Has the sound always been good on her computer, i.e. any reason to suspect her configuration at all? If not, and assuming she is getting good quality video from you, then the problem may well be in your configuration. Have you tried a different messenging program just to see if that might alliviate the issue. I know from a lot of past experience that different messenging programs can have a major effect on audio especially.
Now my last question, are you both using high speed broadband connections??

Satan's voice

Normal 0 Normal 0 The problem is that you are getting feedback from her speakers. What I suggest that she try and turn down her speaker level and if that helps some and works then use it that way. The other way to cure that problem is to both use headphones and that will eliminate the feedback problem.
