A DC code indicates an out of balance load, and the need to Distribute Clothes (DC). It will not allow a high speed spin when this condition is present. Remove power to unit for 3 minutes and reconnect. If trouble persists, call in a pro as several components could cause a DC code without an unbalanced condition.

I have the Maytag Neptune MAH8700 series. I keep receiving the E3 error. It seems to happen just before the spin cycle.
