Toshiba Laptop P205D

Runs fine in safe mode but in reg Vista when you plug in the AC within 5 minutes I get a black/blue screen and I have to reboot. Have gone thru a couple of ac adapters. Repair guy says to just buy win7 to solve - he thinks.

if you reinstall the operating system and you still have a problem then the next logical course of action is to check ram and hard drive.
