Hi, everybody. All the buttons on my A639 stopped functionning from last week. I don't know what could have happen. I realize that all the buttons were not working anymore (stand-by, joypad, front applications buttons, rear hold cursor). I Think that the hardware is OK, because I was able to hard-reset the device using volume- + task-switcher + reset and confirm with zoom -. Then I restore from several backups with no success for the buttons Of course I checked the state of my "hold" button. I fear that some O.S. file in ROM is corrupted. Can I solve reflashing ROM with a firmware upgrade? I have WM5 and Asus released new WM6... Thanks!

Ok, I solved it by myself... I reflashed ROM with the Asus firmware upgrade to WM6 and now all the hard buttons are working again!

A random event? One of many system clean tool I tested? I don't know exactly...
My Asus A639 is also frozen on the blue Heart of Technology screen AGAIN. None of the buttons work, hold button is not active, cannot switch it off. The first time it was fixed by Asus under warrantee - took 5 weeks. The freeze might be related to using GPS software Copilot V6 - not certain.
Help please - how do I do a total reset?
