- I tried to install the ram as soon as it arrived by courier, and not give the ram sticks time to acclimatise. I was also not as thorough in cleaning out the dust in the bottom of the slots as I could have been. Although the memory stick end clamps did located where they should have, the dust and humidity of the room must have prevented a proper seat. I left the un installed ram in the room with the computer overnight, refitted them in the morning and the beeping stopped but it still did not boot, refitted again and it worked. - jbarr_38Popular Solutions for Kingston 1GB PC2700 DDR DIMM
