Would like to scan documents on printer from my desktop pc.

1- scan your document with your software printer
2- save it on your desktop pc
3 - right click on the document scanned, and choose ; send to the recipient

Assuming you already have the printer/scanner, just place the document on the printer glass and press scan button. Please note that the in order to place the document on the glass you must lift the top of the printer, the flap on the printer.. Let me know if this answers your question and good luck..

you can scan from the computer using hp solution center.look for it's icon on the desktop or on the laptop.double-click on that and it will give you scan options.you scan photos or documents using that program.

if you installed the software cd that came with the printer then you should be able to use solution center

You are using HP PSC 1610 and There is an easy option available for you to scan documents/pictures directly to Email since you are using Outlook.

for this, you will find need to check if HP Solution Center is installed in your pc ? if not, you need to install it to make things easier for you.

If you have not installed the complete software for your printer, you will not find HP Solution Center in your PC.

There is also a printing patch available incase you have upgraded your PC from Vista to Win 7

After you have installed the S/w, check for HP Solution Center on the Desktop.

Click on Scan Document and Click on DOCUMENT to EMAIL option and click Scan, The Scanned document will automatically get scanned and Attached to Blank Email.

First, make sure all of the drivers for your printer were downloaded from the CD that came with your printer and make sure your printer is connected to your computer and turned on..

Second, if you are using a Windows PC, Click on:
Start > All programs > Accessories > Paint

Third: When the Paint program opens, in the top toolbar click on, File > From Scanner or Camera > then select your printer by clicking on your printer's icon > then click, OK.

Fourth: Place the document you wish to scan on the glass of the scanner and click on: Scan.

The document will be scanned and automatically sent to the Paint program.

Fifth: Click, File > Save as > (name the document) and save it in your Pictures folder.

You can now close the Paint program and open your Pictures folder. Click on the document you scanned to view it.

It appears that your MFP cannot directly scan to a Word document, but with the professional version of the software, you may be able to import the scanned text into Word and then format it from there.

connect the printer to your pc using usb cable .install the driver of the printer (hp deskjet f380 all-in-one ) . after complet the installation one hp solution center named one icon will come in desktop open that one and goes through the process (scan document ...>select where u want to scan ..>scan )

scanning requires a place to keep a copy of the document.connect ur computer and printer via usb2.0 and then open kodak home center from ur desktop. from there scan the document. u will be able to scan and keep a copy of the document on the desktop. if there is any problem,contact kodak @ 1800 421 6699

have you tried loading the scan program from the my pictures program on the computer

Ok, you should be able to download a manual for your printer in adobe photoshop as a pdf and save it for your desktop, then put it on a cd or leave it on your desktop, or even print it from your desktop. SCanning should not be hard, place your document face down on the scan plate, close lid, if your pc has a scan button press it, or you could open your printers program on the desktop if it has one and choose scan from here. Once you have it scanned the right way you want it, ie you can enlarge or shrink etc to fit email save it to your documents folder or your desktop. Now open your email program and choose new email, add details as per who you are sending it to, and a subject line, now up the top it says insert... click on this and scroll to file. Now browse for your fax where you saved it, and attach it as a file attatchment. Now send it!
