Cable channels not working

Hey
My JVC used to work great no problems one day the cable decides to go out on it. The cable works fine on another tv. When I change the channel on the tv every channel comes in the same as channel 2. Thats why I think its locked or has to do with the V-chip. How do I get my channels back?
