Cannot recharge using car recharger - no red light showing on charger plug in. Do not seem to have been supplied with a mains adaptor. Help Thanks Paul
Check the fuse in the car charger by unscrewing the tip - the red light should be on whenever it is supplied with power. Otherwise check your vehicle fuse to the 12 volt outlet (or try another device in the outlet).

Thanks for your tip - the car fuse was faulty not the Garmin. Tried it on another car and it worked okay - Thanks again.

I put in a verbatim, and Sandisk 1gb sd card and load the maps via mapsource on it. Then, when I ask "where to", the gps just shuts itself down. I formated the card without any luck. As soon as I put back the 512mb sd card, the problem is over. What can I do, i have the latest firmware. v 5.10 on the gps Kind regards Jan
