I need help fast when i turn on my xbox notin comes on the screen and i see three red lights what can i do??

Hi warlord101,

What your seeing is commonly referred to in the gaming world as the "ring of death". However it's not as bad as it sounds.

Check out this link it might work for you. However, this is thermal problem and could easily occur again. the best solution as suggested on the page I've linked it so contact Microsoft and get it repaired pertinently for free.

i think the three red light are over heating problems, if your console is un opened i think Microsoft are fixing them for free or you could find a repair shop and they could do the xclamp fix but Microsoft is the best bet.

This means your xbox 360 is dead you cant ix it on your own you must send it away to microsoft to be repaired if it is still under warranty then it will be free but if the warranty has end then you will have to pay to have it fixed.

360 woes


Microsoft have an extended three year warranty now for the red light problem, get in touch with them and they should either replace or repair your xbox, as long as you haven't tampered with your seal. if they do not help you call 1800-4my-xbox and they will.
