Question about Brother DCP-110C All-In-One InkJet Printer
The purge cam has stopped abnormally.
The unit might be defective or the encoder disc which is mounted on one of the three big gear wheels is stained
I guess the purge cam shaft is broken (this is the noise you can hear)
Anyway you have to change the whole print unit.
The spare part costs are more then a new dcp 130c 0r 135c!
Even if you try to change the parts with another dcp 110c its not worth the costs and energy because of other probs that might happend...

Purge unit error. Check for a piece of paper in the purge unit - right hand side of printer where the carriage sits. Trick the machine by powering off while carriage is moving and check for paper under the cover. If no paper there is a problem you can not correct and you need to get it serviced.
