Question about Toshiba Gigabeat U202 MP3 Player
On 2 different pc's, my new gigabeat U202 sl, is not recognized. It looks as if it is starting to show the green charge symbol, then turns orange. Windows says usb device is not functioning. again, windows XP sp2 on both machines. The gigabeat worked great the first time I loaded it. This only happened when I tried to connect to change the music.
I tried reset. I formated the data. Still nothing, same problem.
The device charges fine using the toshiba wall/usb adapter unit.
I have a similar problem. I bought a new gigabeat U 2Gb in USA last week. It functioned properly in computers in USA. Now I'm in Argentina and I can't connect it to my computer (windows XP and windows media player 10 both in spanish)I tried install WMP 10 in english that came in the CD and the other
two files windowsmedia10-kb902344-x86-intl.exe and windowsmedia10-kb895316-x86-enu.exe and in the last case apear this message:
"Setup cannot update your WMP 10 files because the language installed on your system is different from the update language". Do you have any suggestion to solve my problem? Thanks
