It depends on the country you are located however you can get a battery
replacement kit from most large electronics components. Ebay is also
not a bad source but pick sellers with perfects ratings or nearby with pay on
Also Google 'TomTom One replacement battery' for your country.
In all cases, shop around as prices can vary up to 300% for the same product! In all case, for nearby outlets, as it is not really a difficult task, ask if they will replace the battery for you at that cost. ps. You will need to very carefully open the GPS backcover with a special screw driver to access the old battery.
Hope it helps!
Question for you: How did you wind up with a navigator with no card and no maps? You might consider taking it back to the place you bought it and exchange it for one with the minimum necessary to make it work.

leave on charge for two hours, then with the SD card out hold down the reset button at the back of unit for ten seconds and then the 'on' switch for ten seconds.
The solution to this is quite simple. Buy a new Tom Tom.
The Tom Tom units are not serviceable items. It's silly and quite honestly inexperienced of you to think they are.
If it's still under warrenty, MAYBE Tom Tom would replace the unit free of charge . But don't hold your breath. As a cracked screen wouldn't be under the fair wear and tear usage policy. So I'm afraid it's a case of dusting those cobwebs out of your wallet.
The strange thing about your question is why open up the tom tom in the first place ?
You can't possibly have a replacement screen!
Your either 11 years old or a very strange person.
I too dropped my tom tom go 300. It appears the battery was disloged as it will only work if attached to another power source; AC Adapter or cigarette plug. Does anyone know how to open the case to check on the battery?
