New SR24 Not draining

posted by Swelc on Jan 04, 2008

We had our SR 24 installed about a year ago, but have had some serious well water quality/mineralization issues, and were advised not to use it until we connected to municipal water supply. We have just recently been connected, and started the dishwatsher. It seems to run fine, but the water does not ever seem to drain? Is this normal? I suspect that commercial dishwashers re-use the same water for a few cycles, but how do we "make it drain"?
