My son lock my ipod with a new password and I dn't no how to unlock it..please help me..

It's been awhile since I last owned that specific iPod, but I think what you have to do is plug it into iTunes, go to the iPod window, and click the button that says "Restore". Once it has finished restoring, make sure you set it up as a "new iPod". That should do it.

Please note that by restoring you are wiping out all of the content on the iPod. After everything is wiped you will have to sync your iPod in order to restore the previous content.

Do you mean password lock?
If so, what you need to do is go to the settings app. Press General, Passcode lock, enter the unlock code and then change password.

First, you can try the default passcode: 0000 or 1234
If that didn't work, please read my tip on how you can bypass the passcode-lock and continue on restoring your device thru iTunes.

Can't remember password

I had the same problem. And I coudn't remember my SCREEN LOCK Password as your son. So what I did was I just disconnecteed my IPOD while it was connected to itunes without properly ejecting. This method doesn't retrieve or resets the password, it justs opens your ipod out of the screen lock. so your son can hear his music as usual until he can get a password retreive helper.

you could try using the ituned option to factory re-set the ipod.. you will lose everything off the device and have to re-sync it back on but it should also set the lock code back to factory and not used as default
