do you have a usb cable to connect your camera to your pc? Then generally by pressing the power button once the usb cable is connect, your pc will recognise your camera and then follow the onscreen instruction.
You need to use your camera's interface cable and connect it to a computer so that you can download those pictures you took to the computer for further editing.
Also, you need to install your camera's software that will handle the connection between the camera and the computer. The software installer is shipped with your camera.
If in case you don't have the interface cable of the software, you can use a Card Reader and insert your camera's SD Card to it and it will appear in your My Computer as Drive E F or G
If you didn't have a memory card in the camera at the time you shot the images, they aren't saved anywhere. The D50 has no internal memory. One of the setup parameters is to lock the shutter from firing without a card in the camera. This is the default factory setting.

When taking photos with my Nikon D50, I will have my subject completely centered in the viewfinder. When I look at the photo on the screen, it appears that the bottom of the picture has been cut off. When I take vertical photos, it will cut off the left side. This is very annoying because I'm always trying to overcompensate and guess where my image will end up. Is there anything I can do to make my pictures appear as they do in the viewfinder?
