I need help connection my motorola surfboard

I need help connection my motorola surfboard modem, to my belking wireless router... I've attached all wiring and powered down everything like the instructions say, but my router still doesn't seem to be finding my modem?

you will need to set up the router manually.
First make sure that your computer is able to go online when connected to the motorola modem only.
