Question about HP iPAQ H4355 Pocket PC

1 Answer

Now HP4355 won't work

Was working perfectly, unfortunately wanted to save battery (i.e. was at 60%), so rather than leaving HP4355 ON i was turning OFF, then ON (to get more info), then OFF (to save battery), then ON, then OFF, then STOPPED working. battery is at 60%+ (voltmeter output is 3.06V). when connected to power - charge light does NOT blink. is there a 2nd battery? could the ON-OFF switch be the problem?

No outgoing calls can be made, says "Call Failed"

There is a possibility that the phone is still recognizing the Bluetooth earpiece and it's interfering with the phone's operation.

Once you pair up two Bluetooth devices, they would remain paired up regardless if the devices are turned ON or OFF. You need to enable the Bluetooth of your BlackBerry and find the way on how to unpair the earpiece.

Once it's unpaired, remove the battery from the phone while the phone is turned ON. Leave it for 5 minutes and then put the battery back and turn the phone back on.

If the problem still occurs, then you might want to contact BlackBerry to check some other settings.

Have a great day!

My blackberry 8300 will not turn on, recent water damage. It worked before and after I dropped it in water, but now it won't turn on at all.

If your BlackBerry gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

My blackjack wont charge

I did a hard reset because i was having the same problem with a new battery and a new charger. I took my sim card out first to prevent any possible data loss. then followed the following steps:

  1. Once the handset has rebooted to the Today Screen, enter the following code: *2767*3855#. The handset should display a message “Formatting- Please wait a moment”.
  2. The phone will reboot after the Full Reset as this is normal operation.
after i did that i plugged in the charger and it worked perfectly. this is the last step that you would do after updating the software on the BJ

If it doesn't heat, and doesn't drain the battery, then I don't see how it can really be on... it takes a lot of power. If you don't have a warranty on it, or a service plan with your provider, try reseting it. just save everything you don't want to loose before. The soft-format code for Series 60 phones is *#7370# . You enter this code as you would enter a phone number in the Phone application. It performs a format of the Internal drive - All data will be lost if you use this feature. Series 60 reset The method of performing a hard-format, i.e resetting it completely to factory defaults and removing all data, is as follows: 1. Switch off the phone. 2. Hold down the '5' key, and with this held in, turn the phone on with the power button 3. Wait until a green tick appears over the right softkey, then release the '5' 4. Follow the prompt to reset the phone Note that you shouldn't switch the phone off or remove the battery when performing either of these operations, and it's advised that the handset has a reasonable amount of battery charge before performing a format/reset.

E-125 No Power

are you checking your adapter. i had the same problem with my casseopeia e115. i searched and searched for the battery which even casio doesn't offer anymore. i bought a battery pack which works great w 4 AA batteries but it's bulky and you lose data when you turn off the batteries. i finally went on to discover that my charger/adapter that plugs into the e115 and the serial cradle was scorched by a lightening strike and it was not charging and eventually the batteries DIED!!! I took the adapter to an electronics repair store and for $15.00 they rewired the adapter and it works!!!! it charged the batteries and worked fine.(altho i have to visit them again because i think one of the new wires is bent and i have to position it perfectly to keep charging.) BTW: any one looking for a new casio battery jk210lt...i have a couple to sell! ;-) hope this helps
