Bugaboo Cameleon - 2 problems (Canvas Hood/Canopy... (by 2 users)

Hi All

Hoping you can help me. Ordered the Bugaboo Camelon online from Babytrade and took delivery before Xmas. We put it all together and two problems have arisen.

1. The handlebar seems to be very shaky, I assumed it would be sturdy as having looked at them in many shops I never experience this.

2. The canvas hood/canopy on the carrycot will not sit up stiff like it does on all of the other models I have seen.. any suggestions ?

I have the same problem. It looks so floppy! I have tried to reverse the clamps do you think it's a design flaw on the 2007 model?

Hi there, we just followed the solution for problem #2 and the hood looks perfect now. The instructions are wrong, don't follow the L & R instructions as its to opposite way around.

I have a suggestion for problem #2.

I called Bugaboo and they said that I had the clamps reversed. I switched the clamps and the canopy is now stiffer.

Do you find the canopy hard to move into place?
